For the second time, NOARK has made the schools’ dreams come true!

In the second semester of the last year, NOARK Electric conducted the 2nd year of the competition “NOARK makes the schools’ dreams come true”. This year’s event followed up on the previous one in 2021, attended by 17 secondary and vocational schools from all over Czechia.

The second year, the attendance was international, and the number of participants grew more by four times. Out of the overall 71 teams, most were again from Czechia (25 schools) and Romania (26), then Poland (18 teams) and Estonia (2).

NOARK is one of the industry leaders and the company’s employees continuously struggle to support the new generation of secondary and vocational school students in their education process. The competition “NOARK makes the schools’ dreams come true” helps the participants use their new knowledge, promotes teamwork, and encourages their creativity in planning and realization of their own projects. The team members become more self-confident during the presentations of their solutions as they are required not only to build them but also to explain and present them adequately.

Every school that joined the competition received a special pack with NOARK products that were then used in making the solution. The team members, assisted by their teachers, were tasked to build a functional application of their choice, and then make a video that would explain and describe their work.

The teams’ videos were then presented online, and the public pools shortlisted five best applications to compete in the final round in each country. Then, a jury consisting of NOARK Electric employees picked three best Czech, Polish and Romanian solutions outstanding in terms of product usability, project description and creativity in both making the project and the video.

The results were announced in the beginning of 2023.

In Czechia, the winning project was the Fire Safety System for Server Rooms by SPŠES Plzeň, scoring 127 points.

The second place went to the Robotic Arm by SPŠ Karviná, with 119 points.

The Secondary Technical School of Znojmo came third with the CD-ROM Control System (105 points).

The winners received 3D printers and financial rewards of CZK 15,000. The competition brought many interesting ideas, as you can see for yourselves at the competition website

NOARK Electric congratulates the winners and thanks other teams for their participation.
